Makini Organization

Makini is a Tanzanian nonprofit organization supporting children and youth living and working on the streets. This organization started working since 2008 and it was officially registered in 2010. Makini provides basic short-term responses to their needs and organizes daily and weekly training's, skills, supports, care and art activities (drama, music, dance, story telling…) with professional trainers.

About Makini

Makini
Makini is a Tanzanian NGO created in 2010. Makini ("talent" in Swahili) offers the possibility to children and teenagers who live in the streets of Dar es Salaam to discover their talents. Through artistic activities and workshops Makini helps disadvantaged and vulnerable children and youth to regain self-estime and stability.
