Makini is a Tanzanian nonprofit organization supporting children and youth living and working on the streets. This organization started working since 2008 and it was officially registered in 2010. Makini provides basic short-term responses to their needs and organizes daily and weekly training's, skills, supports, care and art activities (drama, music, dance, story telling…) with professional trainers.

World Aids Day
On 1st December 2014 the Makini Group performed at the "World Aids Day" organized by GUTz Foundation.
This event took place at Temeke Mwembe Yanga, Dar es Salaam, to raise awareness for HIV. Different artists were invited to entertain the audience and indicate the possibility to get tested for HIV. 549 people avail oneself of this oppertunity.
