MAKINI CHILDREN AND THE STAFF IN DIFFERENT TRAININGS AND CARE AND SUPPORT

MAKINI ORGANIZATION FUNDRAIZING EVENT IN JUNE 2nd 2017

Makini organization is planning a fundraising event with the aim of raising money to support a group of 50 children who receives care, support and skills provided by makini trainers at the Alliance Francaise Dar es salaam Tanzania.
We are aiming to raise 17,500,000 Tshs which will go to
transportation fair,
food, drinks and snarcks during the trainings
medical assistance
stationery, materials and training equipments
expenses for child reunification process.

Impressions of Makini's drama and dance training

World Aids Day

On 1st December 2014 the Makini Group performed at the "World Aids Day" organized by GUTz Foundation. 

This event took place at Temeke Mwembe Yanga, Dar es Salaam, to raise awareness for HIV. Different artists were invited to entertain the audience and indicate the possibility to get tested for HIV. 549 people avail oneself of this oppertunity. 

Altogether, more than 2000 people showed up to join the performances. The Makini Group presented traditional, contemporary and modern dances as well as a theater forum performance.
