Impressions of Makini's drama and dance training

World Aids Day

On 1st December 2014 the Makini Group performed at the "World Aids Day" organized by GUTz Foundation. 

This event took place at Temeke Mwembe Yanga, Dar es Salaam, to raise awareness for HIV. Different artists were invited to entertain the audience and indicate the possibility to get tested for HIV. 549 people avail oneself of this oppertunity. 

Altogether, more than 2000 people showed up to join the performances. The Makini Group presented traditional, contemporary and modern dances as well as a theater forum performance.

Theater Forum Performances of Makini in Dar es Salaam

Makini Drama group on stage performing a drama about school incidents which force children out from school to the street.
